Dear Fans

I arrived in Indian Wells earlier this week and I am eager to get back out on court. My back is feeling much better and I am ready to go.

I also have some really awesome news to share with all of you: Mirka and I are excited to let you know that we will be parents this summer! Mirka is pregnant and we are so happy to be starting a family together. This is a dream come true for us. We love children and we are looking forward to being parents for the first time. Mirka is feeling great and everything is going well.

港流浪貓疑偷運至內地成野味俱增

踏入三月，本是春回大地，萬物生氣勃勃的月份，可惜卻傳來駭人新聞，自三月初，香港流浪貓「失蹤」數目不斷增加，有義工估計，四大「災區」：灣仔、 屯門、荃灣、深水埗，加起來，至少有三十隻貓「人間蒸發」，單是灣仔，已有超過十二隻貓下落不明。他們懷疑香港已出現「捉貓狂徒」，懷疑他們捉貓偷運到內 地轉售予內地野味店及毛皮加工場。

據知，流浪貓失蹤事件不單在香港發生，中國多個省市情況亦愈來愈嚴重，南京、山東、湖南等地區，近期亦有發生大量流浪貓被捕捉轉售圖利。

內地愛護動物團體稱，貓販將捉回來的流浪貓送到東莞，再經佛山三鳥市場轉售至珠三角。據知，現時南京及周邊地區已形成一個販貓網絡，貓的來源有來自 繁殖場，但更有不少是流浪貓。市場有供，只因有求，有傳廣州及珠三角的餐館和毛皮加工場對貓、狗的需求增加，早前山東就因有人大量捉流浪貓成為當地大新 聞，至今擴大至由香港「輸入」，情況有趨嚴重之勢，據義工的描述，香港「捉貓狂徒」「行兇」時間在深夜，會手持麻包袋和食物，貓和狗一樣都是人類忠誠的朋 友，愛護動物的大家，如在街上遇到這些惡行，請施予援手，報警制止將這些狂徒再殘害貓兒。

伊拉克記者向布殊掟鞋判監三年

向美國前總統喬治布殊掟鞋的伊拉克記者扎伊迪，被伊拉克法院判監三年。扎伊迪在巴格達法庭，重申自己並無犯下襲擊罪，強調他向布殊掟鞋，只是出於對佔領者 的自然反應，他的律師又質疑，檢察當局對扎伊迪起訴的襲擊外國元首罪，並不恰當，因為當時布殊事前並無公布，亦非應邀出訪伊拉克，不屬官式訪問，但總理辦 公室就強調，布殊是正式訪問。 布殊去年十二月到巴格達，扎伊迪在記者會上除鞋掟向布殊，而布殊一一閃避，他隨即被保安人員制服，扣押至今，成為阿拉伯世界英雄。
