新不如"舊"!!Yonex RD Ti-70 MP LONG
我記得第一次接觸Yonex球拍就係RD Ti-70,不過當時係MID SIZE,就係咁成為左

Yonex'sDiehard Fans,由RD Ti-70,Super RD Tour MP,MP Tour-1 MP,RDX500MP,RD Ti-80,RDS002 TourMP.上星期一上龍騰打個Round,點知俾我見到支RD Ti-70 MP long二手板掛住,不由分說,$400成交,當晚約左Delia So係QEH打波,所以趕唔切Re-string,當時套線係OG Sheep Anna Kounikova17,明附其實"SHIT"for me(取其懶音),而當晚亦都不過不失.但當星期二晚到MRS 俾亞Hill Re-strung之后(Luxilon Alu Power rough52/TF X.Tra Dynamic17 54).個晚約左Jarvis係Junction RD tennis Court22:00to23:00,嘩!!你就會明白Mario Ancic 同泰仔堅持用RD Ti-70 long作為Paint job之選.
之前我都一直懷疑應唔應該轉用27.5既Tennis Rackets,因之前試過都唔係咁好result,但今次呢枝RD Ti-70MP就完全推翻哂我之前所有疑慮,如果你問我27同27.5差0.5寸有乜分別wor,又係咁打,我可以話俾你知點解ATP Top 10之內起碼有一半以上包括R.Federer都係用27.5係有原因,除你本身從小到大訓練都係用Standard Racket去打Topspin,否則的話以27Standard又要打Flat,同時又要打Topspin,我諗都幾難.以前有錯覺16x19或再疏絲D會易打Topspin,但經過呢幾日認真去Test之后得出一結論,要打Topspin關鍵在於你自己做唔做到快既Racket Speed,如果你可以達到呢個racket speed,自自然然就可以用18x20或Long rackets 去打Huge Topspin,而且仲可以調教拍面去打勁Flat ball KILLING SHOT.
I'm training again / July 28, 2007
I just wanted to let you know that I'm practising again. I hit for the first time since Wimbledon on Thursday. I can still feel my knee a little bit, but it's usually like this when you return from an injury. It's not 100 per cent at the moment, but hopefully it will be soon. Fingers crossed everything goes according to plan...I will continue to practice over the next few days and then decide if I'm going to ask for a wild card into the Los Angeles tournament. If my knee isn't ready then my next tournament will be Toronto, as scheduled.I'm excited about competing again. At least this time away from the court has allowed me to rest a little bit, so I have more energy for the rest of the season. Obviously the US Open is the biggest tournament, but I am really looking forward to the indoor season as well.It's strange - I still have not played a full indoor season! This is my third year on the Tour and the first two years I got injured and wasn't able to play all the tournaments I wanted to. Hopefully this year will be different, because I think I can do well on the indoor surfaces.I'm also looking forward to defending my title in Canada. Last year everyone was so good to me and already this year they have sent me some nice messages, so I am grateful for that.LoveAna
Chicken Fettuccine with Mushroom Brie
Notes: For deeper mushroom flavor, stir hot mushroom slices sautéed in butter (see Note below) into the pasta, or spoon them over the top as a garnish. PREP AND COOK TIME: About 30 minutes
Ingredients
2 1/2 to 3 1/2 cups fat-skimmed chicken broth
2 1/2 to 3 1/2 cups fat-skimmed chicken broth
2 cups dry white wine such as Pinot Grigio or Sauvignon Blanc
1/2 cup whipping cream
1 tablespoon grated lemon peel
1/2 teaspoon fennel seeds
About 1/2 teaspoon pepper
1/4 to 1/2 teaspoon hot chile flakes
8 ounces mushroom-flavored brie cheese
12 ounces dried fettuccine
2 cups coarsely shredded cooked chicken (8 oz.)
Grated parmesan cheese
About 1 cup watercress leaves, rinsed and drained
Preparation
1. In a 4- to 5-quart pan, combine 2 1/2 cups chicken broth, wine, whipping cream, lemon peel, fennel, 1/2 teaspoon pepper, and chile flakes to taste. Bring to a boil over high heat and boil, uncovered, 2 to 3 minutes.
2. Meanwhile, with a sharp knife, trim rind from brie and finely chop (rind adds flavor, but discard if you like). Cut brie into about 1/2-inch chunks.
3. Add fettuccine to pan, pushing it down into boiling liquid. Simmer, uncovered, stirring often, until pasta is tender to bite, 8 to 10 minutes. Add chopped brie rind (if using) and chicken and stir to blend. Stir in chunks of brie. Remove pasta from heat and let stand, uncovered, 5 to 8 minutes, stirring often to make sure all the cheese melts (the rind won't melt). If you want saucier pasta, add up to 1 cup more broth and stir over high heat until steaming.
4. With tongs or two forks, lift pasta into wide soup bowls; spoon remaining sauce over the top. Sprinkle with parmesan and more pepper to taste, and top with watercress leaves.
Note: Tasty mushrooms:
Since mushrooms release liquid as they cook, it's important to get the process right, or the results can be pale and watery instead of deeply browned. The trick is high heat.
To prep: Trim discolored stem ends from 1 pound mushrooms. Either wipe the mushrooms clean or rinse briefly and pat dry, then thinly slice.
To cook: In a 12-inch frying pan over high heat, melt 2 tablespoons butter. Add mushrooms and stir until all the moisture has evaporated and mushrooms are browned, 8 to 10 minutes.
To serve: Season with salt, pepper, and fresh herbs, then use sautéed mushrooms to liven up anything from chicken breasts to eggs Benedict. Mix with chopped tomatoes for a bruschetta topping, toss into a spinach-feta salad, or stir into polenta.

TV News Helicopters Collide, Killing 4
Two news helicopters fall after colliding in midair while covering a police pursuit in central Phoenix, Friday, July 27, 2007, killing everyone on both aircraft, police said. Both helicopters were from local television stations. KNXV-TV Channel 15 reported that one of the choppers belonged to its station. The other chopper was from KTVK Channel 3 in Phoenix.

美神奇貓能準確預測死亡
美國 羅德島一間養老院飼養了一隻神奇貓咪，牠能準備預測老人過
世，並走到床邊陪伴老人，送最後一程。
羅德島史提瑞安養院的老人病學醫生多薩博士在新一期的「新英格蘭 醫學期刊」，撰文描述神奇的貓咪奧斯卡 。奧斯卡曾準確預測25名老人的死亡時間，牠走到垂死的人床邊後，不出4小時內老人就會過世，而院方利會趁機通知家屬，好讓見到老人最後一面。
毛色灰白相閒的奧斯卡現年2歲，出生沒多久就被安養院收養，住在3樓的失智症患者病房區。牠在安養院住了6個月後，員工開始注意到牠會自己去「巡房」，就像醫生和護士那樣，牠會一一走過每個病床，聞一聞，觀察一下，然後在其中一個病床旁坐下，數小時後，該床病人就與世長辭。
同樣在這家安養院工作的布朗大學臨終病患照顧醫學專家提諾博士說，奧斯卡預知死亡的能力，似乎比他們還要厲害，她是在奧斯卡準確預測了第13名病患的死亡後，對此深信不疑。
當時她照顧的一位女病患已經無法進食，呼吸困難，腿部出現藍紫色，這通常是即將死亡的現象，不過那個時候奧斯卡並不願意進到房間，提諾還以為，這回奧斯卡要破功了，沒想到，事後證明，是醫師的死亡預測時間早了10小時。在這名女士過世前兩小時，奧斯卡進到她房間，陪著她直到她嚥氣。
醫生說，被奧斯卡陪伴的病患多半病重到無法知道牠在床邊，因此並不會有死神降臨的感覺，倒是他們的家人，大多對於有奧斯卡這樣的「示警」表示感謝，只有其中一人在家屬臨終前要求奧斯卡離開，奧斯卡被請出病房時，腳步和喵喵叫聲都透露出牠的不高興。
至於奧斯卡這種能力是否有科學上的意義，或者從何而來，目前都無法得知，提諾懷疑，貓咪是不是能在人將死之前聞到某種透露出死亡的氣味，或者從醫護人員的動作來判斷。

Tennis Note Book 2
剛剛click過George既Tennis blog,提起以往crazy tennis 既歷史,當時因有一段時間老媽子去左溫哥華我二佬個邊,所以無後顧之憂,現在情願多D時侯陪下老人家好過.不過世事無絕對既.
講開又講,其實識左Delia So 應該比George 同Jarvis還要早,但只不過當時係Email聯絡中未有相約,但世事往往就係咁巧合.Forget it!
雖然自己同Female Players打波既機會唔係好多(我所指既係搓得兩板),但以我同Delia打過三次既Experiences,除Serve以外,任何一方面既技術都比同Level既Maleplayer(所謂自稱某某Level)有過之而無不及,而近兩次既Practice當中發覺佢Fight back 心理好強,唔會無故Giveup一D唔應該輸既Points,呢種心態唔會故意扮出黎,好明顯offcourt既佢都係一樣,唔知有無估錯,不過雖不中亦不遠.Anyway,好多謝佢過去兩個星期同我Practice,期待next tuesday night!!
另外一樣有感而發既事想講一講,近期因時間關糸只打早上,少不免會同一D新波友相識,但相比Jarvis&George,Delia,又或者HKU既一班Fireman同TAcoach,態度與及心態真係................!!!!

星期二晚到MRS re-string我支RD Ti70 long,Luxilon Alu Power Main52/Tecnifibre X.Tra Dynamic17 54,Perfect!!!之后拺OVERGRIP,豪無idea 之下(因Wilson Pro overgrip 無白色),亞Hill recommened左Gosen 既4條裝Overgrip,雖然$55貴左小小,但非常好performance.Highly recommened to every tennis friends."GOOD HAND FEEL"!!

早陣因個人事繁忙,而放低左接近個多月后復出,心理同生理上完全無意識下吃了多場敗仗,但識我既人都知我不在乎結果,只在乎係對賽中你可唔可以運用Game Plan.
過去兩星期跟Delia,Jarvis,以及好耐無打過既George(Jarvis都係,原來差唔多9months),狀態己經回覆80%,Friday亦會再上HKU操體能,希望可以操番FitD耐戰力.
另外一提,早幾晚MSN既時侯,Delia forward左許如雲既"好聽"俾我,Thanks a lot,歌如其名"好聽",好鐘意Openning既Piano instrument music,再加上Violin,好舒服..........!!!由"淚海"許如雲我都好鐘意,典型臺灣女性,但多一份溫柔tim,其實佢同蘇慧倫差不多,不過性格就完全相反,我比較喜歡許如雲多DD,LOW PROFILE,太Active就唱唔到好似"好聽"呢類型歌曲.DELIA,飲多D水同訓多D會快好D架.Take care!!!

九龍皇帝曾灶財逝世
除天星碼頭,皇后碼頭外,我諗"九龍皇帝"曾灶財都可以話係活生生既香港回憶ICON.
70-80s初,TVB有套劇集"流氓皇帝"從主角構思以及后期造形,都有小小參照曾灶財而編寫.而其后本地時裝設計師William Tang更將其獨有之街頭涂鴉放上其服裝上,据William Tang所講,除想將此介紹特式到世界各地外,同時亦都希望幫助這位老人家.
自己對呢位"涂鴉大師"印象深刻反而唔係早期,而係在電影"薰衣草"其中一場,天使金城武帶陳慧琳將愛心派俾有需耍既人,而其中一個就係曾灶財.
希望一D高調維護所謂香港回憶既團體人士,俾番少少Focus係呢位曾經係活生生的香港回憶既老人家身上.

New venues for Sony Ericsson Championships
The Sony Ericsson WTA Tour recently announced where the season-ending Sony Ericsson Championships will take place over the next six years. After November’s final staging in Madrid they will be held in Doha, Qatar in 2008-2010, then in 2011-2013 they will take place in Istanbul, Turkey.The winner of the 2008 event will pocket a record $1,485,000, while the total tournament prize money for the eight-woman event will be $4.45 million, which is equal to that of the ATP’s season-ending Championships, the Tennis Masters Cup.“The awarding of our Sony Ericsson Championships to Qatar represents an exciting continuation of our strategy to showcase the very best of women’s tennis in different regions and markets throughout the world,” said Tour chief executive Larry Scott. “Doha has been a longstanding supporter of women’s tennis, including having held the first women’s professional tennis event in the Middle East in 2001, and has demonstrated the ability to successfully host world class sporting events such as the 2006 Asian Games.”A brand new 10,000-seat stadium will be built in Turkey when the Championships move to Istanbul in 2011.“Istanbul is one of the world’s great capitals, and will be a fantastic home for the Championships,” said Scott. “We are thrilled that our sport’s tremendous growth over the past years, coupled with the excitement surrounding our Roadmap plan, has built an unprecedented equity in our Sony Ericsson Championships. 皇后碼頭抗爭：香港本土文化抬頭

假設我們將來回眸香港歷史，在2007年7月，最重要的事情是甚麼？是一連串盛大的香港回歸十周年紀念活動？是特區政府發表政制發展綠皮書？也許都不是。最重要的事情，也許是在這個月底發生的皇后碼頭清拆事件。香港政府計劃7月底展開中環皇后碼頭的“保存”工程，工程期間，會清理皇后碼頭用地，愛丁堡廣場部分範圍會封鎖。保衛皇后碼頭人士對此表示失望及憤怒，他們特別點名批評新成立的發展局，認為發展局口頭上說要平衡保育與發展，但現在卻草率展開工程。所謂的“保存”，即是逐一拆除碼頭的非結構部分。所有組件會臨時存放在大嶼山一幅土地，最遲今年11月完成拆除及存放工序。至於重新組裝皇后碼頭的永久選址及設計，現在仍未有定案。若說去年年底天星碼頭抗爭標誌著香港民眾中的本土意識開始萌芽，這場一觸即發的保衛皇后碼頭運動，大概可以說是“標誌著一場香港本土文化運動的濫觴”。這場本土文化運動跟過去的運動，有著頗大的分別。香港在過去四十年，也有不同的社會運動，但過去的運動，大多是圍繞著“維權”這個主旋律而起舞的。跟過去的一些勞工運動、艇戶要求上岸定居的運動不同的是，皇后碼頭運動的參與者，大都不會因為這個碼頭的拆遷而有直接的經濟損失。參與悍衛皇后碼頭的人所悍衛的，是在經濟以外，在經濟以上的本土文化承傳。這場運動所負載的意涵，也許是較維權運動本身還要深邃的。“本土文化”作為這場運動裡的主體，也跟香港在過去幾十年出現的“商業文化”或“次文化”也不一樣。“商業文化”或“次文化”要不具有某種經濟價值，要不是自生自滅，沒有附帶任何的“承傳意識”；但“本土文化”卻反映出一種獨立於經濟價值，且是一種會被“有意識地承傳”的人文精神。“本土文化”的出現，跟香港這十年的經歷有莫大關係。自香港回歸以降，香港作為中國大陸窗口的功能正漸漸消失，以至最終香港要依靠祖國；過去香港居民感到驕傲的經濟角色，已漸失色。在這背景下，一些香港人已開始在本土文化裡尋找香港的價值，也許這也是在香港失去其經濟角色後的一種反應吧。值得注意的是，這場悍衛皇后碼頭運動的參與者的出現，意味著香港政府在泛民主派以外，又多了一批跟他們抗衡的力量。悍衛皇后碼頭運動的參與者並不是香港市民熟口熟面的社運常客，其核心也不是過去幾十年一直搶在香港在野運動前線的泛民主派。換言之，在泛民主派以外，另外又再出現了一批新興的，有知識的抗衡聲音。悍衛皇后碼頭的參與者，不一定都熱衷政治。他們既不算關心當權者的權力遊戲，也不會理會建制中人（包括泛民主派議員）關心的利益分配。可是，文化議題，卻可能較那些權力和利益分配的“骯髒”交易更容易在市民中間形成共識，也更容易凝聚成為香港的核心價值。弔詭的是，悍衛皇后碼頭的參與者雖不一定為了政治而出現，但他們卻必然會衝擊到香港的政治生態。通過連串的抗爭和衝突，他們較泛民主派的政客更有力地控訴了政府的專制，也更有力地戳破了“香港有自由，無民主”的論述。特區官員現在於皇后碼頭事件擺出一副“強政勵治”的姿態，繼天星鐘樓後再一次“強勢拆遷”，試問這會造成甚麼後果？假設有關的“問責官員”又不用下台，大家又會得出甚麼結論？巧合的是，現在特區政府正在諮詢未來普選的路線圖。暫時來說，香港市民仍不會對中央政府說不。但在皇后碼頭事件後會有何變化，勢必成為外界關注的焦點。必須重申，“本土文化運動”跟“港獨運動”不同。北京人也有北京的身份認同，上海人也有上海的身份認同。香港過去只談經濟，不談文化；現在的情況其實只是從不正常狀態返回正常狀態吧了。個別喜歡扣帽子的北京官員，大可不必過慮。

Ana: Thanks! It’s a very tough question. I’m not sure if I can say definitely, but I would lean more towards Berlin. In Montreal everything went perfectly for me, from the moment I arrived I had a great feeling. But in Berlin I had to overcome a lot more difficulties. I had these very tough matches against Schnyder and Kuznetsova, and I was a little bit injured in the final. So Berlin was a little bit more satisfying to win. Also I had never won a match there before this year!
Marko: Have you ever thought of becoming an actress some day? I think you could be a really great actress! I mean, you did fool everyone with that April's fools joke :)
Ana: Thanks! I’ve not thought about this, and I wouldn’t want to be an actress while I’m a tennis player. But making a movie in the future would be a lot of fun!

Ana: I had some great holidays to Greece when I was a kid. My family, we would visit Halkidiki each year. We always had such a good time. These days I don't have so much time for holidays. I usually have two of around five days per season. Hopefully at the end of this season I will have more time for a holiday.
Guigui: What do you do when it is raining during a tournament?
Ana: Usually I read a book, maybe play some Sudoku or backgammon in the locker room. It depends how heavy the rain is – if it’s obvious I won’t be playing for some time, I will often go to the player lounge and be with my team. If it rains during a match and we go back to the locker room, then I see my coach and we talk about how things have been going.
Hey Ana, did you buy yourself a present for reaching the top 10?
Ana: No, but after Paris I bought myself a new Louis Vuitton dress, but unfortunately it was stolen from my baggage on the way to Barcelona! I guess that's life!
