Ana reached the last eight of the East West Bank Classic with a 6-2, 6-2 thrashing of world No.24 Lucie Safarova.The 19-year-old recovered from a 40-0 deficit on Safarova's serve in the opening game and immediately broke. She missed a break point opportunity in the third game, but converted another in the seventh to seal a double break. She comfortably served out the set.Ana, seeded third here, kept the pressure on the Czech player and scored another break in the third game of the second set.
