Ana faces six-time Grand Slam champion Venus Williams in the fourth round of the US Open on Sunday. It will be the pair’s fourth meeting and their second in successive Grand Slams, after the American’s straight sets victory at Wimbledon two months ago.Though 27-year-old Williams has won all three of their previous meetings, Ana is quietly confident of scoring an upset against the 12th seed. She has been in good form in the early rounds.“We had tough matches before,” recalled Ana, who lost 7-6, 7-6 to Williams in only her fourth match as a professional in Zurich in 2004. “The last one was at Wimbledon recently. She was in a great shape. She’s also playing good at the moment. "We had tough matches, but definitely I think I have chances. I’m looking forward to this match because I think I’m in a good shape. I feel good on the court. It will be exciting to play against her.”Williams commented: “She's definitely a good player, great competitor, and a nice person. It's good to see good things happening for her.”Just as she has in previous rounds, Ana will wear personalised adidas shoes, which are pictured here.The match is scheduled as the third on the 23,500-seat Arthur Ashe stadium and is expected to begin sometime after 2.30pm local time (8.30pm Central European Time).
