Ana will face a qualifier in the first round of the Western & Southern Financial Group Women's Open in Cincinnati, which begins on Monday. The 21-year-old is seeded 11th in a field that includes all of the world's top 15-ranked players.
Ana would play either Frenchwoman Alize Cornet or Hungary's Melinda Czink in round two, with eighth seed Caroline Wozniacki a potential opponent in round three.
Fourth seed Elena Dementieva is Ana's most likely opponent in the quater-finals, while No.2 Serena Williams or No.5 Jelena Jankovic could await in the last four.
The leading seeds in the top half of the draw, whom Ana cannot meet until the final, are No.1 Dinara Safina, No.3 Venus Williams, No.6 Svetlana Kuznetsova and No.7 Vera Zvonareva.
The total prize money at the Premier event is $2million and there are 800 ranking points on offer to the winner. The tournament features the return to competitive action of former world No.1 Kim Clijsters, who has not played a Tour event in over two years.
